CAPSAFE 18 February: CAPSAFE 45 min
Presentation was started with a vocabulary lesson on the key words: Common sense, safety and risk. We took definitions apart, further defining the words like: judgment, practical and experience under “common sense”. We went through the CAPSAFE power point presentation, followed up with excerpts from an article Rear Admiral Brewer III, Sealift Command, wrote in his commanders comments, on the operational risk topic. His comments were about not just talking safely, but acting safely. 11 cadets and 5 senior officers participating. Both Sentinel and Wing Safety Bulletin were posted/ distributed to senior officers.
