Summer Safety- Common Bites and stings. 21 July: Summer Safety- Common Bites and stings. 35 min Using information from kidshealth.org and the National Ag Safety data base, the topic of summer pests, bites and stings were covered. Prevention and reducing the risk of bites and stings was stressed as well as immediate first aid and later treatment, how to know when a bite is a serious allergic reaction and to get medical help. Safety Briefing , page 9 was the handout. 16 cadets and 14 senior officers and 4 visitors were present. Both Sentinel and Wing Safety Bulletin were posted/ distributed to senior officers.
