National Preparedness Month

September is "National Preparedness Month". As a member of an organization whose motto in Latin, Semper Vigilans, translates "Always Vigilant"; we should be at the forefront of vigilance by preparing our homes, families and ourselves in the event of a natural disaster or other catastrophe.
Please see the attached memorandum from Gen Courter and find ways to encourage your fellow members, and yourself, to think about preparedness.
Also remember, preparedness is part of the new way of looking at CAP in California Wing: "Commitment, Accountability and Preparedness".
