California – In an effort to enhance the new emergency services program for cadets, Corona Cadet Squadron 29 hosted a Basic Communicator User Training (BCUT) class. Approximately 25 Members from Squadron 29 and March Field Composite Squadron 45 attended the training class during the January ES training night for Squadron 29. Both cadets and seniors attended the training which now allows those members to utilize CAP radio frequencies to conduct CAP cadet and emergency services missions. “Now we will be able to employ more communications resources when we conduct our activities” stated Capt. Doug Giles, commander of Squadron 29.
