National Headquarters has developed an Equal Opportunity Training presentation.  This training is required for all members, both senior and cadet.  The training takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.  Members must select "I Agree" or "I Disagree" on the last slide of the presentation to complete the training.  Members selecting "I Disagree" will be flagged for follow-up by the chain-of-command as agreement to comply with the CAP Non-Discrimination Policy is required of all members.

CAPR 36-1, CAP Non-Discrimination Policy (22 Aug 08) states in part in Section 5, Paragraph e:

Any members who completed Level I/Phase 1 training prior to the publication date of this regulation who do not meet this training requirement/suspense will not be eligible for promotion until this requirement is completed.

According to this regulation, all members who have completed Level I (senior members) or Phase 1 (cadets) must complete this training prior to 22 Aug 09 in order to remain eligible for promotion.  Failure to complete the training will make the member ineligible for promotion until such time as the training is completed.  For new members, this training should be completed during Level I or Phase 1 as applicable along with CPPT and OPSEC.
