A Salute to Fallen Heroes

The Administration at Riverside National Cemetery, RNC has honored Squadron 45 by asking us to participate in this year’s Memorial Day event, 25 May, “ A Salute to Fallen Heroes.” This is an extraordinary honor and a chance for us to serve our Veterans and their families. The Day begins at 0900 and ends at 1300. The keynote speaker is US Congressman Ken Calvert, who represents our district in the US House Of Representatives. Our Senior’s and Cadets have been chosen to serve the as ushers and escorts as well as parking lot and traffic control. The 1st Marine Division Band Brass Quintet will provide the music and there will be an Air flyover as well as other special guests that include the family members of 71 Iraqi and Afghanistan veterans interred at RNC. Come and be a part of a historical event and show our CAP spirit.

Uniform will be Blues or BDU's depending on the duty you are assigned. Form 150’s are required and can be brought to the event and given to the project officer at check in time. Sign-ups will continue next week. Contact 1st Lt Bob Harris or 2nd Lt Ken Benner.
