KC-135 Ride

On June 27, 2005, six Cadets and one Senior from Sq 45 participated in an O ride
in a KC-135 that refueled an E-3 over northern Arizona. The flight lasted about
4 hours and each cadet got to observe close hand the refueling process. One
cadet was chosen to observe on the flight deck during takeoff and another on
landing. The complete airplane was available to explore during the flight.
Cadets from Hemet Sq 59, and Palm Springs Sq 11 also enjoyed the flight. Special
thanks to the USAF 452 Air Mobility Wing for a great flight.
