Squadron 45 was honored with the visit of Col. Driscoll on June 6, 2005 during the weekly squadron meeting at March Air Reserve Base.  Col. Driscoll was in attendance to present the AIR FORCE ASSOCIATION AWARD to C/Tech Sgt. Lorraine Barrera.  The AFA Award is given in recognition of outstanding achievement in leadership and academic standing in the Civil Air Patrol.  As a cadet, C/Tech Sgt. Barrera has distinguished herself and is one that other cadets look to for leadership and as an example.

 

Col. Driscoll, presenting the award, is an Air Force Reserve nurse, serving for over 25 years.  She is currently stationed at March Air Reserve Base.
