Big Bear City Airport's Wings Over Big Bear 2007

by

Capt Liz Goude

On 24-26 August 2007, Squadron 45 worked together with Squadron 6750 and Capt Bruce Black to assist with Big Bear City Airport's "Wings Over Big Bear Air Fest 2007".  After the rain for the day was over, the cadets who remained after the airshow took an up close and personal tour of the Cobra. The two man crew was more than happy to show off their machine to the cadets!

Hats off to all for another excellent  performance!!!

Cadets arrive Friday evening and set up camp in the maintenance  hangar.

Up at dawn and headed off to breakfast compliments of the Kiwanis Club or to start off with parking detail...

...on to flight line and crowd control/safety.

VIP escorts taking a break  -  no available aircraft to hang around in.

20 minutes plus 2 inches of rain equals one air show closing and hour early!

Started off in formation, but the rain was heavy!

All present and accounted for!

No dust on this beauty
