C-17 Arrival

On 9 August 2005, new life has been given to the MARB Reserve Units with the arrival of the C-17 Globemaster III.  The C-17 is the Air Force's 21 century's answer for a more efficient & adaptable cargo transport which can access 95% of the world's airports (a quality which could not be achieved  with previous transports).  Congressmen Calvert, dignitaries, high ranking military officials andhundreds of invitees were on hand to celebrate it's arrival.  All were treated to a lavish buffet of gourmet delicacies from prime rib to shrimp scampi  and treated to a  fountain of chocolate to dip their strawberries. CAP Cadets and Seniors from several squadrons participating in this historic event by providing security, crowd control, dignitary seating, parking and clean-up.  CAP personnel were commended for their efforts by the General staff.

Hats off to the CAP Cadets for another excellent  performance!!!
