Cadets Participated in Orientation Flights at the

Big Bear City Airport

On Sunday, 26 August 2007, after assisting at the Big Bear City Airport's Wings Over Big Bear 2007, Squadron 45 cadets, along with other CAP cadets, participated in orientation flights.

The cadets salute the O-Ride pilots!

Sunday morning the 16 cadets who spent the night pause for a photo next to the Corsair before heading to the hanger for O-rides.

Rain suspended flights twice!

The cadets waited it out with a BBQ lunch including pie and coffee/water. Of the 16 cadets, Cadet Goude had the shortest ride at .2 miles and Sgt O'Kane was rained/timed out at 4:00pm
